Summary
Under the supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Director of the Trauma Recovery Center is responsible for development, implementation and management of the Trauma Recovery Center program; providing clinical supervision, diagnostic evaluation and assessment, treatment planning and evidence-based clinical services provision, training and orientation; program and case consultation; management of services; and building and maintaining relationships in the community.
The Director will have a passion for working with survivors of violent crime/trauma such as sexual assault, domestic violence, physical assault, shootings, gang violence, vehicular assault, human trafficking and family members of homicide victims. The population served focuses on underserved and at-risk populations such as persons who are unhoused, from refugee populations, and are of diverse ethnicity or origin; as well as who have chronic mental illness, substance use disorders, disabilities, and severe trauma-related symptoms or complex psychological issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and implements the Trauma Recovery Center program with guidance from leadership, the National Alliance of Trauma Recovery Centers (NATRC) and other stakeholders.
- Provides clinical supervision including case staffing and consultation to assigned staff in accordance with CODAC policy and regulatory agency requirements.
- Coordinates and assigns referrals. Determines caseload and workload for staff based upon number of intakes, members, and administrative duties.
- Works in collaboration with Human Resources and Training departments to recruit, hire, train and coach assigned personnel. Provides clinical training and development to staff through clinical orientation and other specifically focused in-services.
- Coordinates trauma-informed, cultural humility and other relevant trainings for TRC staff and community partners including providing presentations and workshops.
- Provides assertive community outreach, clinical case management, assessments, and therapy to program participants, along with case consultations, as needed.
- Assists in program evaluation and development through coordination of needs assessments, as well as through participation in senior clinical and management meetings.
- Meets regularly with other program staff to coordinate activities, address issues, resolve problems and review program goals and objectives.
- Participates in the writing, development, and implementation of various funding proposals and grants.
- Provides complete documentation and reporting of all client services in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.
- Maintains client files in accordance with agency and funding source requirements, when appropriate.
- Ensures that the program meets all deliverables and regulatory agency requirements. Works with external program evaluator and internal staff to develop data collection and reporting protocols.
- Establishes and nurtures collaborative relationships with underserved communities to build trust, strengthen partnerships, and enhance the organization’s capacity to deliver culturally responsive and equitable services.
- Develops and maintains relationships with referral agencies and other victim services providers. Participates in collaborative efforts with these agencies/providers during frequent and various meetings to promote cooperation and collaboration, enhance referral pathways, and address the needs of local crime survivors. Works collaboratively with law enforcement, Attorney General’s Office, Pima County Attorney’s office and local victims’ services providers to ensure quality services at an individual and systemic level. Provides on‐going referral protocol trainings to all Tucson‐area Emergency Departments, hospitals and other referral sources.
- Facilitates an Advisory Board consisting of at least one trauma survivor, family members of trauma survivors and stakeholders/partners in the services of survivors of violent crime.
- Works with providers and state agencies to coordinate member care.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- 3 years supervisory experience AND;
- 5 years direct clinical experience, including but not limited to therapy, case management, outreach and home visits AND;
- Licensed and in good standing with the AZ Board of Behavioral Health, at the independent level required LCSW, LMFT, LPC AND;
- Authorized by AZBBHE to provide Clinical Supervision
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Driver’s license, proof of current insurance and willingness to use personal vehicle. Driver’s license is an essential requirement for performing duties for this position.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record - no more than 2 moving violations or a license suspension in past 3 years.
- 1st Aid and CPR
- Fingerprint Clearance from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, required.
- Available on-call - 24-hour availability for consultation and emergency crisis intervention.

Pay Information:
- Pay Rate: $86,000 to $110,000/year
- Pay Comments: Salary dependent on relevant experience
