Job Description


Under the supervision of the Sr. Vice President of Workforce Management and Development the Recruiter is responsible for facilitating the full-cycle recruitment process. Including but not limited to the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, reviewing resumes, and screening candidates prior to scheduling interviews. Significant focus will be placed on pipeline development and improving recruitment metrics.

  1. Review and analyze resumes using our in-house ATS software program
  2. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  3. Scour job search websites for potential recruits and contact those candidates personally
  4. Assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  5. Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  6. Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  7. Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  8. Conduct prescreening interviews.
  9. Coordinate panel interviews with/for hiring managers
  10. Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
  11. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  12. Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Skills / Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Experience may substitute for degree.


  • Five (5) Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in Healthcare (Integrated) environment
  • Two years of experience in general HR functions is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency using computers and data entry. 
  • Paycom experience is a plus.


  • Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources Certification, preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s license, proof of current insurance and willingness to use personal vehicle.  Driver’s license is an essential requirement for performing duties for this position.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record - no more than 2 moving violations or a license suspension in past 3 years.


  • Paycom Experience, preferred
  • Multi-task and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrates competencies in accordance with CODAC standards.
  • Working knowledge of personnel policies & practices, recruitment & employment practices and EEO guidelines.
  • Extensive working knowledge of HRIS and other data reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of compensation & benefits programs, federal & state statutes and regulations applicable to personnel and payroll.
  • Demonstrated ability to track details with meticulous accuracy.
  • Ability to coach employees and management through complex and emotional issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability/flexibility to handle an unusual, diverse workload and respond to shifting priorities.
  • Must possess good judgment and skill in dealing with employees and the public.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data.
  • Ability to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or laws.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills using MS Office products, Word, Excel, Access, etc., importing/exporting data to/from applications.
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication and team-based project experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
